Comforting Kansas City
in Severe Weather
Coat & Blanket Collection

Project Warmth’s mission of making extreme weather months more bearable for Kansas City area neighbors in need would not be possible without the dedication and generosity of many partners and supporters. Please join us in thanking them for their leadership in “Comforting Kansas City!”

Founding Organizations and Presenting Co-Sponsors:

The Kansas City Star started our mission under the name Project Warmth in 1982. Joining forces under Project Warmth as the favored name, KCTV5’s Heat for Life program became a partnership in 1983. Since then, these two media companies have rallied the community to help its neighbors through severe weather conditions. Thank you for your vision and continued leadership!
