If you’re in need of emergency assistance due to extreme weather condition or any other reason of urgent need you can call the Greater Kansas City United Way 211 information line (816-474-5112) and they will refer you to your local social service agency. Project Warmth serves Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte in Kansas. The Greater Kansas City United Way 211 serves additional counties beyond these eight as shown in the map below.
