Beginning Saturday, November 7, for a $50 donation to Project Warmth, you can get a chance to win a NEW MALIBU donated by Cable-Dahmer Chevrolet. November 1 - December 13: Dri-Duck teams up with local retialers to Benefit Project Warmth

For the second year in a row, DRI DUCK provides warmth to the Kansas City metro area by partnering with Project Warmth to donate jackets to those in need. This year DRI DUCK has commissioned the help of its top local retailers hoping to increase the number of donations from last year and build on it's commitment to the community. Retailers will begin accepting donations Novemer 1 through December 11, 2009. Click her for locations.

December 11: KCTV5 Project Warmth Telethon

KCTV5 will broadcast the annual "Project Warmth Special" telethon from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 11. Operators will be accepting pledges, and throughout the day, KCTV5 will air live Project Warmth updates reminding viewers of the need that exists in the community and encouraging them to phone in pledges.

The winner of the Cable-Dahmer Chevrolet donated Malibu will be drawn LIVE on KCTV at the end of the program.

December 13: Contribution Envelope

In cooperation with Tension Envelope and Commerce Bank, on Sunday, Dec. 13, Project Warmth postage-paid envelopes will be distributed in The Kansas City Star. Contributors may use them to send in donations. The envelopes have raised more than $4 million

Editorial Cartoons donated by Lee Judge

Judge's cartoons have raised more than $158,000 for Project Warmth to make the winter months more bearable for thousands of Kansas City area families. Your donation of $50 for a Lee Judge original cartoon is great way to support the Kansas City community and own a conversational piece of art.

Watch for ads in The Kansas City Star in November and December with the Cartoon Request Form, and mail it with your $50 donation, made payable to PROJECT WARMTH: Project Warmth, c/o The Kansas City Star, 1729 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108.

 

November 7: Coat & Blanket Drive
