Coat & Blanket Collection

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 3, 2018!

Gently used and new coats and jackets in all sizes from infant/toddler to youth to adult sizes are needed. Blankets of all sizes and weights are also appreciated. No clothing, please. Thanks to Project Warmth KC’s partner, The Salvation Army, the donated items will be sorted and distributed to nearly 70 shelters and other organizations qualifying for assistance throughout eight counties across the Greater Kansas City area.

Can’t make the collection day?

Send an email to or call 816 234-4067 and ask about alternative locations and dates to drop off your donation. Project Warmth will be able to accept coat and blanket donations at a dates to be determined.

If you are unable to hold onto coats and blankets until that time, please visit a local Salvation Army store and/or another thrift shop.

You can also make a financial contribution to Project Warmth (providing children and adults assistance with rent or heat/lighting) through Mid America Assistance Coalition.  Learn more at
